A Home Built to Support Your Journey

When your organ transplantation journey takes you and your family far from home, our door is always open.

The Comforts of Home. Care at your Fingertips.

That's why we built the Bartch Transplant House, a private home away from home that offers affordable housing for patients who are traveling to Central Florida for a solid organ transplant or a Ventricular Assist Device (VAD implant). Reserving A Room

Patients and their guests must be referred by a member of the care team of the AdventHealth Transplant Institute, formerly Florida Hospital Transplant Institute, or the AdventHealth Orlando inpatient care team. To find out if you and your caregiver are eligible and to start the reservation process, contact your care coordinator.

We always do our best to accommodate patients and their families. But because hospital discharges, admissions and the availability of organs can be unpredictable, all admissions to the Bartch Transplant House are on a wait-list basis and we can't guarantee your stay in advance. You'll be placed on our wait-list as soon as we receive your referral. On the day you plan to arrive, call the house between noon and 8 pm to check room availability and confirm your reservation.

For your convenience, we gladly accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. And as part of your dedicated transplant care team, we'll work directly with insurance companies, grants and other payment sources as needed to help you get the support you need.
